Lorraine Borah accompanied Steve and Mary Borah, Kimball, to Montevideo, Minnesota, the July 24-26th weekend to attend a relative's funeral.

Dabria Trinity Marie Busch, daughter of Casey Busch, celebrated her 2nd birthday at AmericInn, Chamberlain, with a pool party, Thursday evening, July 29, 2004. Relatives and friends were in attendance and birthday cake and refreshments were served.

Sunday Dick and Sandy Dyson, Alan Dyson and Melissa Dyson, Chamberlain, visited over dinner at the Golden Buffalo Cafe, Lower Brule.

Last Monday Ed and Grace Stiefvater were in Rapid City. They visited their daughter, Brenda, before returning home.

The Unit that Brian Busch, son of Jerry and Judy, is in has been deployed to Djibouti, Horn of Africa, for 30 days. Temperatures are 120 plus with high humidity.

LaVonne Smith, Joyce Houchin, and Sandy Dyson were Saturday forenoon coffee guests of Gloria Bowar.

Saturday afternoon, Jerry and Betty Worlie, Onida, visited in the Ed and Grace Stiefvater home; the foursome had supper at the Golden Buffalo Cafe, Lower Brule. Jerry and Betty were overnight guests in the Stiefvater home.

Casey, Crystal, Dabria, Amber and J.J. Busch, Watertown, spent the July 31-Aug 1 weekend in the parental Jerry and Judy Busch home, visiting relatives and friends.

Wendell and Ardene Gilman were in Pierre 2 weeks ago for doctor appointments.

Doris Hills visited in the Ed and Grace Stiefvater home Sunday afternoon.

Greg, Kayla and Bria Mick, LaPorte, Texas, were Tuesday until Saturday visitors in the parental and grand parental Mary Mick home. Wednesday evening a housewarming-picnic supper was held at the Rodney Mick home with Mary Mick; Greg, Kayla and Bria Mick; Don, Melinda, Katie, Allie, Liam and Brady McManus, Reliance; Troy and Monica Swanson, Pukwana, and Francis Milnar present.

Alyce Faye Kotz, Rockford, Illinois, arrived a week ago Monday in the parental John and Marie Houchin home to visit relatives and friends and for the Houchin reunion. On Tuesday Allen Robinson, Bristow, Oklahoma, arrived for the reunion; on Thursday Allen was a dinner guest of John and Marie. Sunday John and Marie Houchin hosted dinner for Orren and Pauline Robinson, LaPine, Oregon, Allen Robinson, and his son, John, Dayton, Ohio and Alyce Faye Kotz. Alyce Faye left for home Monday.

Jim, Carol and Kristin Sundall spent the weekend camping at Hart Ranch, Rapid City. On Saturday they drove to Custer to get acquainted with their great niece-just a day old. Autumn is the daughter of Doug and Brittany Mills; Brittany is Carol's niece.

Cade Peterson, Pukwana visited his grand parents, Wendell and Ardene Gilman Monday and Thursday last week.

Thursday Gerry Houchin babysat her two grandsons at their home in Kimball as their mother Dee had a Dr. appointment in Sioux Falls.

Barb Abrahamson and Christie Merkle of Ill. Arrived Thursday evening for the Houchin reunion.

Barb, Christie, Dee Resick, and Laurel and Gerry Houchin attended the Houchin reunion breakfast in Pierre Friday morning.

Chad Abrahamson and family surprised everyone Friday arriving from Ill. for the reunion.

Bill and Lois Schulenberger of Salmon, Idaho visited Laurel and Gerry on their way to Texas.

Orrin and Pauline Robinson of Ore., Allen of Okla., John of Ohio, Kathy Reumann and Maryanne Reynolds of Ill, Alyce Faye Kotz of Ill. Visited Sunday with Laurel and Gerry.
